I find it difficult to comprehend the actions of some individuals. As breeders, we already face immense stress and pressure. Our responsibilities range from ensuring the well-being of our puppies to maintaining relationships with clients and prospects. Balancing puppy rearing, personal life, and sometimes full-time work can be quite demanding. We genuinely strive to please both animals and people.
So why do some breeders attack each other? It's perfectly acceptable to have differing opinions and approaches. Disagreements are natural, but resorting to attacks seems unnecessary. Personally, I prefer to focus on my own path and commitments. I wonder why it is so important for others, whether breeders or not, to be unkind and cruel. With so many people and puppies in the world, there is no need for such cruelty. I have personally dealt with false accusations, character defamation, slander, and harassment. Fake reviews, harassing phone calls, and even threats to my family have been part of my experience. It has become too much.
I have faced significant loss and challenges in my life. The pain of burying my parents, losing close friends, and attending the funeral of a young son of a dear friend just recently. I have battled and overcome cancer, having a double mastectomy 6 months ago, enduring more hardships than many can imagine. Despite these trials, I refuse to see myself as a victim. Instead, they have shaped me into a kinder person.
Let us put an end to hate, jealousy, rudeness, and cruelty. Life is too short to harbor anger and bitterness. Instead, let us be kind to one another. Let us cherish the moments with our loved ones, for they can be fleeting.
