Breeding: My Passion, Not a Profession
Breeding is not my profession —it's my true passion, my calling, and the reason that brings immense joy to my heart. It goes beyond the realm of a mere profession; it is my "why" and the purpose that drives me. For as long as I can remember, my love for animals and the desire to make a positive impact in their lives has been ingrained in my soul. Breeding is not solely about producing adorable puppies; it's about creating a profound connection and healing hearts. The joy I witness when a family welcomes a new furry member into their home is unparalleled. Knowing that I played a role in bringing happiness and companionship to someone's life fills me with a sense of fulfillment that cannot be measured. Breeding allows me to be a part of a journey where unconditional love blossoms, creating unbreakable bonds between humans and their four-legged friends. But breeding is not without its challenges. It requires dedication, knowledge, and a deep understanding of genetics and responsible practices. Every decision I make is rooted in ensuring the health and well-being of the animals involved. From carefully selecting the parents based on their temperament, health, and lineage to providing a nurturing environment for the puppies to thrive, every step is taken with the utmost care and love. Beyond the technicalities, breeding is an art that requires intuition and a connection with the animals. It is a delicate dance of genetics, love, and compassion. Witnessing the unique personalities of each puppy as they grow and seeing them bring joy and healing to their new families is a testament to the power of this profound bond. Breeding is not just about creating puppies; it is about creating a positive impact on the lives of both humans and animals. It is about fostering love, healing wounded hearts, and bringing joy to those who need it most. To me, there is no greater reward than knowing that my passion can make a difference and touch the lives of others. So, I continue to breed with unwavering dedication, pouring my heart and soul into every aspect of the process. It is not merely a job; it is a lifelong commitment to spreading love, healing, and happiness one precious puppy at a time. Breeding is my passion, my purpose, and my joy. It is what brings meaning to my life and allows me to make a positive impact in the world—one wagging tail and one healed heart at a time.

Honoring the Memory of Gilly and Levi: Their Voice Lives On
Today, we solemnly mark one year since Yorkie and Morkie Boutique tragically lost Gilly and Levi, two beloved puppies, due to the adverse effects of the Elanco Duramune 3-in-1 vaccine. It was a heartbreaking loss that shook us to our core. At almost 8 weeks old, like many responsible breeders, we administered vaccinations to our litter before they went to their forever homes. Little did we know that this routine procedure would turn into a nightmare for Gilly and Levi. Within 24 hours of receiving the vaccine, these two precious souls began displaying distressing symptoms, signaling that something was gravely wrong. We immediately sprang into action, taking emergency measures to save them from the adverse reactions they were experiencing. For three agonizing days, we fought tirelessly, with sleepless nights and desperate efforts to alleviate their suffering. However, despite our unwavering dedication, Gilly and Levi ultimately succumbed to their pain, leaving a void in our hearts that can never be filled. Elanco, the manufacturer of the vaccine, acknowledged their responsibility in this tragic incident and offered compensation for the veterinary expenses incurred. However, they insisted on a gag order, silencing our ability to share the truth. With deep conviction, we declined their offer. As a breeder, we hold an ethical obligation to be the voice of Gilly and Levi and to share their story. It is our duty to raise awareness, educate fellow breeders, and inform parents about the potential risks associated with vaccinations. We want to emphasize the importance of avoiding over-vaccination and waiting until the puppies are older and better equipped to handle the vaccines. Furthermore, finding a veterinarian who supports and understands your concerns is crucial. Gilly and Levi will forever hold a special place in our hearts. They were innocent souls whose lives were cut short, but their voices continue to resonate within us. Their story serves as a reminder that we must remain vigilant and advocate for the well-being and safety of our furry companions. We invite you to join us in honoring the memory of Gilly and Levi, cherishing their lives, and spreading awareness about the potential risks associated with vaccinations. Together, we can strive for a future where every voice is heard, and the health and happiness of our beloved pets are safeguarded. In loving memory of Gilly and Levi, their legacy will endure, and their story will be a beacon of hope and education for generations to come. It's critical for a responsible breeder to weigh their puppies for the first two weeks, three times per day! Some may think it's unnecessary or obsessive, I call it responsible.
Did you know that puppies are born with only a 60% chance of survival in the first two weeks!? It's the breeder's responsible to meet the other 40% and that starts with their weights! I can catch a "fading puppy" or one that needs more nourishment or attention by weighing them THREE times per day. Many times, mommy doesn't want anyone touching her babies or moving them. So to make this less stressful for all involved, I weigh them in her whelping nest. She can watch the entire time and the little one doesn't feel the sudden movement of being picked up or put down. I weigh them in grams and each day celebrate the success of the weight gain. If by chance there is a little one that is maintaining or losing weight, I immediately put my strategy of attention and care into action! Every hour making sure the puppy is eating, making liver water recipe (liquid gold to breeders) and making sure it's glucose level, warmth and sustaining life efforts are in place! Breeding is not for the wearing, it's not 'just for fun' or something you should jump into without learning and being mentored by another responsible breeder! This is why it's critical to find a breeder whom goes the extra effort to care for their puppies!

Why Do We Feed Raw? For the last 20+ years we have embraced and enjoyed the lifestyle of feeding our dogs raw food. Diet is the most important choice you make about your dog's health and kibble food does NOT cut it! Dogs are biologically primed to process raw meat, so they're able to absorb raw nutrients more easily than those found in cooked food. If you have never fed raw and would like to visibly see the amazing benefits, I would challenge you to trying it for 90 days! The results are outstanding! You will see improvement with your pups gut health, improved digestions, smaller and less stinky poopy, balanced energy and stamina. By month two, you will see a strengthened immune system, improved liver, pancreatic and bowel health. You will also see a less hyperactive pup caused by chemicals, flavorings, additives and colorings in their kibble. In their 3rd month, you will find improved skin, bones and teeth! If they suffered from allergies, you will see a reduction in their symptoms. A shinier and healthier skin and coat is one of the best outcomes and of course cleaner teeth and fresher breath! Lastly, you will have better weight control. increased mobility in older pups and fewer trips to the vet! You will thank me! This is why we feed raw. This is why we encourage you to do the same. As a puppy parent, we will discuss the benefits and I will support you as you continue this journey with us!
